Many university and vocational college graduates emerge with excellent academic and technical knowledge – but with limited life skills and understanding of the practical and technical demands of the modern workplace. In many cases they are not ‘job ready’. The result can mean a large number of unemployed or underemployed and disenchanted youth. This is both a social tragedy and a critical waste of valuable human resources. For this reason many of the specific training programs we develop and deliver for our clients are involved in bridging this chasm and creating 'job ready' candidates capable of contributing strongly to industry diversification and economic growth - as well as confidently forging their own career paths. These programs include aspects of personal development, cross cultural communication, and working in teams - but crucially focus on enhancing and redirecting skills to satisfy the often very specific job specification demanded by international employers.

This continuing situation has also created a different, and sometimes difficult social environment for young graduates and the youth of Asian countries. Short term 'job readiness' is often not enough – there is a need for the adoption of special long term support programs, and the provision of ongoing mentoring, training and education. These programs are most effective if developed and delivered in conjunction with local providers.
